This fall, our class wrote Haiku poems. All poems were submitted to the Polar Expressions Publishing contest. I am happy to announce that out of thousand of entries, several of our students have been chosen to to move forward to the final round of judging. Their poems are also being published in a book. Writing haiku will be a great activity for a class. With little bit of creativity you can have lot of entertainment-cum-education and some nice poems at the end of the day. And, if you find a publisher to publish your haikus, it will be great
