Phonics
We will be using
play dough
in our upcoming math unit. I am looking for several parents to make play dough. If you are able to help, please follow the recipe below. Kindly send the play dough to school with your child next week.
Play Dough
1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp oil
1/4 cup salt
food colouring
Mix all ingredients, adding food colouring last. Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from pan and knead until blended smooth. Place in a resealable plastic bag when cooled.
Many students took their running shoes home over March Break. Please remember to return your child's running shoes. Your child needs a pair on indoor running shoes for phys. ed. These shoes cannot be worn outside. If you have any questions, please email me at kwheeler@stjudesacademy.com.
